When the song came out, I think half of the fashion shows in the world featured it, not even knowing it was a rip off of the Rolling Stones’ “The Last Time.” - Michel Gaubert

I don’t know why I avoided Beastie Boys new album all last year… Today I decided to give it a listen, since I’ve been craving some “boys music” after all the dreamy pop covers I’ve been posting and listening to.
It wasn’t a surprise at all to find me loving the album, the fucking boys are back, straight from Make some Noise (1st track), which seems like a sequel to (You gotta) Fight for your right (to party), the album does not stop to breath… So, I’m gonna post another similarity in sound I found while listening to the album. Long Burn the Fire, the sequel to Sabotage.

I think I hate making posts about Dios (Malos), but let’s help these guys…
I got to know Dios (Malos) back in 2008, when people could make themselves fans of things in facebook… So I remember I had a status like this one “Ifigenia became fan of Dios” which was kind of funny for people who speaks spanish becase Dios actually means God in english. They are very little known in my country and I guess all over the world too, so, let’s help them.
I review this similarity in a little green book where i keep track of things, and this one is a note probably from March 2011… but i saw it again to day… I hope everyone can hear it too.
Weezer is another band I enjoy quite a lot…
A little bit more than a week ago I was in one of the night places in my Caracas and enjoying the music very much…
Then I started to hear OMD’s “So in Love” and immediately thought of M83’s “Midnight City”…
I guess is the rhythm, but I’m also certain the saxophone plays a big part in helping me connect the both of them.

Latin references for the people, this song by The Naked and famous was on this weeks episode of Ringer (shame on me) and it sounds excatly la like Alarmala de Tos by Cafe Tacuba, a band from Mexico. There are many similarities between these two songs, they have alomost the same structure.

Gentlewoman by Coma Cinema first stroke me as a song that could be similar to Angeles by Elliott Smith, but later on as I listened further I found some similarites with Bob Dylan’s The Times they are A Changing, since I, myself am a Gentlewoman, I’m gonna stick with the classic, so here you go…

No one like Morrissey to know who are or will be his sons…
Ever since he took under his wing (on a way) The Drums, and after I went to their concert and felt in love with them I knew…
First it was their whole attitude and now this tribute, because if this isn’t a tribute to “This charming man” I honestly don’t know what else it could be…
“I will go out tonight, but I don’t have a stitch to wear…”
I Want to go to Portsmouth
I posted this a while ago… in my other blog… and I’ll repost that here on tumblr
“Won’t you take a walk outside?”
-Oh no.
“Can’t you find some other guy?”
-Oh no.
“1 9 6 9 what’s that sound?”
-Oh no.
Keeping down the underground
jus this lines… and then listen to the atlas sound song… can’t help it…
